Two Wines

My two favorite wines
Are vintage sixty-three,
One is a bordeaux
It does something to me,
I sense smoky and savory
With an exquisite fine finish,
A bouquet of sensuality
That nothing can diminish.

The other is a white
Citrus flavors abound,
I feel positively sparkling
When this one is around,
Tickling my funny bone
With electric sensations,
Each one of these alone
Worth standing ovations.

Seasonal favorites
That’s not the way I choose,
I might change day by day
When there’s nothing to lose,
Because each offers something
Unique, by itself,
Thus, in my wine cellar
They own a place on my shelf.
