The Desire

As much as he wanted to do It
He did not,
He certainly had the desire
But couldn’t unravel his knot,
Hadn’t been trained
In any sense of the word,
All that stuff about flirting
Well, it was just another hummingbird.

And the best of those are rare
But, very few know it,
He looked around, figured it out
And knew, he couldn’t grow it,
Until it dropped into his lap
By serendipity, via daughter,
Thereby preventing
Several nations slaughter.
