Flapping Mandibles

I always seem to have the luck
In groups or in a crowd,
To get the very seat in front
Of someone very loud,
Sometimes they spill refreshments
On my clothes or in my hair,
It has happened all of my life, you know
And God, it isn’t fair,
I suppose there’s one advantage
If I sit near such a creep,
The flapping of his mandible
Prevents my usual seminar sleep.
