This morning on the veranda
A Bald Eagle was attacking my mums,
It was not a pretty sight to see
That creature was all thumbs,
A porcupine was flexing his quills
Reminiscent of Jack LaLaine,
The horses have gone completely hogwild
The animals are under a strain.
A cotillion of classical researchers
Are bumping their heads together,
Posing questions about man-made conditions
Do we complicate our own earthly weather?,
Mother Nature is mounting a rebellion
To annihilate the likes of us all,
The howling hurricanes and moaning monsoons
Is the answer, we’ve heard Nature call.
